This is an example schedule which combines the lessons from Unit 1 and Unit 2. Combining the units will work for children who have a good deal of previous singing experience (weekly church group, children’s choir, etc.). This example schedule is based on Charlotte Mason’s schedule of solfa lessons twice a week for ten minutes each. If the lessons don’t take up the entire ten minutes, sing one of the songs again. Starting in Week 8, many of the songs are game songs. Some require larger groups. You may pick and choose your favorites among the game songs and repeat them if you wish. The goal is to have your children singing and moving along to the music.
